In case you haven’t heard about it, the Hearing Examiner made a decision on the appeal of the SEPA Checklist for the Counties rezone proposal. It didn’t go our way. Why this decision took so long, we’ll never know, but we’ve been expecting this would be the outcome. We are not surprised by the decision. Our attorney, Norm Semanko and the Gonzaga Legal Team will be deciding on the direction to go from here. Norm has made it very clear that this is noway done and there are plenty of solid grounds for appeal. The Land Sale Lawsuit Appeal could take months to get a date for a court hearing and a Judge assigned. It’s frustrating it’s taking so long, but we have no choice but to let the process play out. See you at the next Public Awareness Meeting on October 14th.
